If I understand this correctly the 2.0.x kernels do not support ipchains? Is this true? I am helping a friend install debian 2.1 linux and he tells me it comes with
the 2.0.x kernel and not the 2.2.x kernels like most other distributions. If this is the case should he recompile the kernel to support ipchains or does he need to
upgrade to a 2.2.x series?
Regards.
