I added those rules but it didn't change much. Incoming file transfers
still do not work. I have yet to try outgoing tough.

$IPCHAINS -A input -p tcp -s icq.mirabilis.com 4000 -d 192.168.1.0/24 -j ACCEPT
$IPCHAINS -A input -p udp -s icq.mirabilis.com 4000 -d 192.168.1.0/24 -j ACCEPT
AND make sure the line: " /sbin/modprobe ip_masq_icq >/dev/null 2>&1 " , is in the pmfirewall.rules.masq (but I think it's there by default).
I hope someone else can help you with the hanging files...

Hello,
I installed PMFirewall maybe a week ago on my Linux server. It will be serving an ADSL connection to three workstations. So far, everythings work quite well. I have email running on the masqued computers, FTP clients are ok, ICQ works well (except file transfers and chats), etc.
My main problem is that when I try to browse the web, almost all the files will start coming in, and then hang at the exact same place everytime. This does not happen if I try to browse on the Linux box itself. It seems files over a couple of kilobytes will not go through.
Anyone has had a similar problem or ideas as for how I could solve it ?
