Greetings,
We have a machine at work that only had ssh open (or so we thought).
Bitkeeper was recently installed and afterwards, we ran nmap against it
to find the port on which it listens (I can't remember the port number
off the top of my head) open which, IMHO, is rather infuriating.
I don't want ports automagically opened by a new service or anything
else -- unless I explicitly specify that I want that port open, it should
be closed. Is this something pmfirewall is set up to do or is my
configuration somehow jacked? I'd sure appreciate any info on this...
Cheers,
-Charlie
