HI Guys,

I have PM Firewall setup to both block all ports from the outside world ( by
selecting n to all the relevant questions in the install ) and set to
masquerade again by selecting the relevant option on the install.

I then run, after pppd has connected, pmfirewall start and masqstart and
everything fires up.

HOWEVER if I do a port check from grc.com port 80 is open ( I do have apache
running and will probably uninstall it as I don't need it ) when I asked it
to be closed. Also it masquerades everything except ftp and http
masquerading. I have had to install squid to get that to work. I don't want
squid as I don't have a very big disk on the firewall although I would like
DNS caching as my ISP's DNS servers are a tad flaky.

So how do I close port 80, masquerade Http and ftp requests?

Also if anyone can answer this non PMFirewall ( but related Q please do )
I cannot get ( on SUSE 6.2 ) pppd to run my ip-up script ( or auth-up )
scripts.

TIA

Dom.
