At home I have Redhat 6.1 and cannot seem to get my firewall setup to work
with a VPN connection. I am using a Windows NT 4.0 box inside my firewall
to access a Windows NT VPN Server outside the firewall. I went thru all of
the emails in the archives on this (I think I read them all) and I still
could not get it to work. I read about something needed to be done with the
kernel - Mine is out of the box RH 6.1 - Do I need a kernel upgrade?
In another network I administer at work, I have a router which acts as my
firewall and I set it to redirect incoming PPTP (Port 1723) packets to one
workstation which I use to get out to the same VPN server and it works - I
also tried this on my RH 6.1 router at home and it did not work.
Anyone have the ipchains lines for this or any ideas? Thanks in advance....
