I am currently running RedHat 7.1 at home with a cable connection and
pointman controlling the masquerade. Has anyone encountered a problem using
FTP behind the firewall? I get a message saying "invalid command" or
something similiar. It's not just the Windows 98 machine that I was using
that does it, I get the same error with my other Linux box that functions
behind the gateway. Also a few file sharing clients (i.e.- direct
downloads) are also giving me problems. Is it just a setting that has to be
corrected with the OS itself?

I am also getting the "Masquerade time out set to...." error and can't seem
to figure that one out either..

Any help would be appreciated
