I'd say the PPP device should be ppp0 (assuming that you don't have any
other PPP connections); when you are connected, try 'ifconfig' to check
that this is the case. Also, while connected does your system log record
any denied packets? If so, check the rule number (at the end of the log
entry) and post both the entry and the rule.
