If it was blocking e-mail I think the only thing you would see is that I was not
accepting the SMTP port which is port 25. That would stop you from sending
e-mail. I do not think however that the script would stop you from doing that.
I am sure that it was configured so that your machine would accept source ports
of 25. I hope this helps.
